4. Wendy’s- Wendy’s is one of the most recognizable fast food restaurants in the United States, and they are one of the most prominent businesses in Columbus, which is where the company was founded. Its headquarters is located in Dublin, a suburb of Columbus, but there are a number of Wendy’s restaurants operating throughout Columbus. The fast food restaurant employs more than 20,000 people at more than 6,000 locations. Also, they don’t just operate in the United States, as they are a global company with restaurants located around the world, and in 2015 their operating income was more than $270 million.
